Following a string of good efforts in some of the top Saturday Sprint Handicaps over the last few weeks, MONADAMMEJ lines up for the £50,000 Sky Bet Dash at York on Saturday.
Drawn 15 on the stand side, tackling faster ground again and back at 6 Furlongs, he’s our local flag bearer and can hopefully go close to landing this big prize, if backing up his recent efforts.
We send 2 runners up to Newcastle on Saturday for the opening race at 1.00pm. These are DIYARI and the very enigmatic VAN DIJK.
The latter has won well here previously but also been very recalcitrant on some other starts. We’ll see what mood he is in on the day.
We have a double header on Tuesday with two meetings.
The afternoon action sees 3 runners at Wolverhampton:
INTERNATIONAL LAW
UPSIDE DOWN
RAABEH
We then head to Nottingham in the evening with 2 runners:
ALL ABOUT CHARLEY
CANFORD BAY
Wednesday sees us send two runners to Catterick for the sprint handicaps:
QAARAAT
MUTABAAHY
We head back to Wolverhampton on Wednesday with 3 runners:
INEXPLICABLE
PUCHITA
THAWRY
These are our final runners for this week
TATHMEEN led home PUCHITA at Wolverhampton on Monday evening to give us a 1-2 in the 6f sprint.
Photos of the success and the winning connections are available on the links below.
We send to for the 6.55pm race at Wolverhampton on Monday but both have outside draws.
TATHMEEN
PUCHITA
RABEEH contests the 1.45pm race at Beverley on Tuesday
Our next entries are on Wednesday
MONDAMMEJ who missed Pontefract on Tuesday due to very soft ground, heads to Ascot on Saturday for the valuable Heritage handicap over 5 furlongs at 3.35pm.
He ran well in the Epsom Dash with some cut but further rain perhaps would not help him, so we hope for the best.
Our next entries are on Monday
