The flat turf season 2022 kicks off with Lincoln Day at Doncaster on Saturday.

The Next Week

We now have no runners at Wolverhampton on Saturday and Flat Racing takes a break for a few days until Newcastle next Friday and then of course the Flat turf season starts next weekend with the Lincoln meeting at Doncaster.

2 Meeting Tuesday

Cheltenham gets underway on Tuesday but for our yard, it’s racing at the evening fixtures at Southwell & Newcastle.

Southwell sees RAABEH heading back to the scene of his course and distance win, albeit in a higher grade. He has run well here in his races all season.

ABNAA & SPARTAN FIGHTER head up to Newcastle. They are both at the forefront in the All Weather Championships for winning most horse. Spartan Fighter leads the table with 5 wins, whilst Abnaa is joint second on 4 wins. See if they can add to their profiles here.

It’s a likely double header again on Thursday at Wolverhampton and Southwell.
